III Conference «Small and Medium Business of Moscow and Moscow Oblast: Variants of Finance Attraction».

 07.11.2011

On October 5, 2011 the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the III Conference «Small and Medium Business of Moscow and Moscow Oblast: Variants of Finance Attraction». The issues of state support for the small business, as well as the sources of finance for SME, such as microfinance, engagement of venture capital investment, and public flotation were discussed at the conference.

Mikhail Mamuta, the President of the Russian Microfinance Center spoke about the microfinance potential. It appears to him, the banks have done a lot for some time past to recover the SME market after the first wave of the crisis. There is a good progress in simplification of resources availability, promotion of crediting period, rates lowering; and what is more, the competition among banks is growing, even largest banks now invent innovation services in the sphere of SME crediting, which seemed impossible as far back as three years ago.

The situation in microfinance is the same. Complex innovation business requires special microfinance products to appear with help from the state support, Mikhail Mamuta believes.
